Bobbylah 135 Posted December 27, 2021 I am in construction and most of the time I worked on sites I wore my gen 16610. It got worked hard and scratched up and the last time I had it serviced (after 15 years when the mainspring broke) it had so much grit under the bezel it hardly turned. It’s a watch and no one give a fuck apart from those who know watches and if they do, then they know it’s a tool watch. It’s not like you have diamond indices and a diamond bezel like some sort of twat. Enjoy it for what it is.
Mystery Shopper 5,887 Posted December 27, 2021 I might be paraphrasing, but our local aristocrat-Lord Flashheart- used to say that work was something people do that haven't accumulated enough money not to work. He had a windfall of some sort and was delighted to tell his valet, PA and sommelier that they didn't need to worry- the windfall would help to keep them in his employ.
