Recommended Posts

NullMind

Hi

Hopefully somebody with more experience can help me here, I am getting the DSSD PV Jacques Pickard edition form Mary, I noticed there are two faces

Face 1

one-20110626-094949.jpg

Face 2

two-20110626-095046.jpg

(look at the RED lettering)

Any advise what is the correct one ? or they both valid ?

Both valid. Just different versions.

Bear in mind that Rolex do not make PVD watches. The gen PVD versions are always created by third-party companies such as Pro Hunter, Bamford and others, so there are several different versions around of many of the models...

Do multiple companies do the Jacques Piccard edition ?

For the Jacques Piccard edition (86 pieces) the correct Dial would have both Pro-Hunter and sea-Dweller in Red, as far as i recall.

The ones with only "deep-sea" OR "pro-hunter" in red are two limited editions of 100 units (each) also from pro-hunter.

Probably their site has more info...

regards,

M

I found the 100 edition on their site, but not the 86 piece one, I've asked mary to send me the first one (2 lines red)
