Sealdoggy 1 Posted March 15, 2022 The anti reflective coating has worn off of my watch, I want to replace the crystal on it any suggestions please on a good sapphire crystal for this watch and where to source it. the crystal is 32.5 mm on the OD not sure how thick it is , anyone know, I don’t want to remove it until I get the new one if I can help it . the crystal that is in the watch is a low dome with bluish color anti reflective coating. I'm going to attempt the repair myself, I’ve built and modded a couple of Seikos shouldn’t be too difficult, I have a press.

He's a trusted dealer over there and does spectacular work. https://forum.replica-watch.info/forum/prof-s-crystals Here's a couple he's done for me over the years: Before: After: Before: After:

They do look great but if you just want to clear up that scratched up AR you can just take it off the crystal by polishing it with a Cape Cod cloth. I would tape off the bezel insert but it looks like you need another one of those too. Cape Cod will take a while, but its dead easy.
