Carbotech 960 has landed

Recommended Posts

This came in the post today and it's so very different from anything I've had previously. This is going to get a lot of wrist time. It's so light and comfortable on the wrist and the dial legibility is out of this world. Super chuffed about this one.

And for scale, the 960 beside my 906.

Thanks. It's a big departure from any watch I've ever owned and that's a good thing.

Thanks... the bezel is tight and direct. As it should be.

Looks nice for the younger age group but my preference is the dress type.

You keep posting awesome shots of this one and now I want one.
How does the 42mm wear compared to a Rolex sub.

Why can’t they make these subs in 44?

And the weight of a 47 is probably no problem with these but are big watches dying off?
Your blue/black one and the 47mm green/black one look killer.

Sorry man, i literally just saw this post now.

I actually haven't had a submariner but i have had a ceramic sea dweller. Feel is about the same but different cuz strap vs bracelet.

There IS now a 44mm carbotech . I know Trusty sells it.

I have actually since gotten a 47mm carbon and am sort of keeping my eye open for a 42mm in steel (due 904?)

Been on a panerai trend the last few weeks.

It's funny cuz I used to hate submersibles in the luminor case, but since the fiddy case has been applied, I LOVE them.

I picked up that blue 1289 about a month ago and I literally haven't worn any other watch since. I'm actually wondering if I'll wear my 960 again or as much (at least). LOL

Just ordered one of these from Jtime so waiting on QCs. A lot of pics I see the blue is a different colour so I guess it's just lighting or post editing.
I tried the gen on and its the most comfortable watch Ive ever had on my wrist.

How you finding it a few months in?

I don't have too much experience with leather or other kinds of wristbands. Which watches come with the most comfortable leather or rubber wristbands factory?

You won't be disappointed. That said, I got a 1289 a few months ago and the 960 has become a box queen. lol WIS people are fickle AF, aren't we?

Ok boys.

L.O.V.E the way you guys picked up the conversation after a year without missing a beat. Amazing!

That is unless I am misreading the dates—then I’m an idiot.

I was also looking into Carbotech but Ian afraid it would feel too plastic… what would you say how it feels?
