gwallabie 25 Posted March 21, 2022 Hi, I have a gen Constellation bought new in 1999, the dial was originally black. The dial got grey with time, I somehow got used to the "new" color but the readability suffers from it. Is there any way to let is "shine" in black as it was 23 years ago or any idea how I can make the readability better? Thanks
deju 2,057 Posted March 21, 2022 Get a NOS dial fitted. but you’ll destroy any value the watch has.
gwallabie 25 Posted March 21, 2022 Thanks, what is exactly a NOS dial please, found some on ebay but none for my Constellation. Had an offer from an Omega-Dealer for a gen dial, would cost me eur 880 including revision - plus I think new hands would be needed also... This is roughly the value of this watch. Only the new gen dial fitted eur 320.
