MD12112 44 Posted April 26, 2022 Hello I have a VSF V2 Seamaster 300m , amazing watch .I'm using it as my Daily, and it is serving me very well. However, the bracelet clasp , I have had a very strange issue . The screws are loosening, despite tightening and I've lost a few of them. I've put the bracelet screws but they are not secure enough. Firstly anyone had this issue? Secondly any one can suggest a good source for replacement screws? Sent from my SM-S908B using Tapatalk
Aramis2288 6,238 Posted April 26, 2022 Sourcing a new set of screws will not assure a proper fit. The fastest, cheapest, and easiest way to deal with it is to use a liquid thread locker e.g. Lockite. Example: https://tameson.com/threadlocker.html Just make sure you are not using the strongest one available because you may find yourself unable to unscrew them ever again. Philiusmaximus 5,059 Posted April 26, 2022 Stick it on rubber strap ;-)
FudgyDocker 3,496 Posted April 26, 2022 Yes, it's usually the blue one that holds threads but will still allow them to be cracked and loosened. The red one is more permanent. Don't use the red one. Always check the version before using, as some may be the other way round!
