Tony P 57 Posted June 16, 2022 Hei lads always wanted a green dial watch . tag heuer emeral green , or a green dial super chronomat , iwc spitfire maybe . please voice your opinions and suggestions and photos if possible Share this post Link to post
APjumbo 3,031 Posted June 16, 2022 Hulk seems like an obvious choice. Pam382 is simply amazing if you have the wrist for it. Aqua terra in green if you can find one, probably my favorite green watch. Oris is ok but not my favorite, 21mm lugs, can't seem to find a strap combo that is amazing, keeping an eye on a gen bracelet on ebay. Spitfire, it's ok, again not my favorite, but like it enough to keep it around, not sure why. Palm dial rolex is probably hated by other but I love the fun factor (especially at rep prices) Lately I have been thinking a lot about a rose gold green dial Daydate. Not sure I can pull off rose gold though. It would be fun to wear around the house, If I can source one, BP? -oh, and if a green dial GF chronomat goes for sale you better be quicker than me. Good luck! 3 Share this post Link to post
Tony P 57 Posted June 17, 2022 thank you appreciate the time it took to relate so much information . i have just bought the mike horn pam , i was looking at the bronze but chose the mike horn instead . May i ask is the spirtfire a good rep , have you compared it to the gen . What was your general opinion on its differences Share this post Link to post
APjumbo 3,031 Posted June 17, 2022 Not all spitfire reps are created equal. The 3878 for sale is a NWBIG, old rep that is highly rated. It is the one with the correct white seconds hand. You don't see them too often anymore. If yo u want a spitfire and care about it being gen-like, that's the one to get. This bronze one is inaccurate due to the sub dial layout. I think two of the subdials are reversed from the gen, but the chrono works, if the dials were in the proper location one of them would have to be fake, or something like that, honestly I can't remember and don't care that much, I just wanted another bronze watch and it was either this or a tudor, had the tudor and sold it so tried this one. I really like green dials over blue, this green dial is Very flat/matte green. Then again if I could find a B&R bronze I would probably buy that over this. The day date wheel isn't super perfectly aligned, (seiko is much better here) that annoys me a bit. The 382 is huge and heavy and I don't wear it often, but it was in Expendables and I have a thing for movie watches. The mike horn is a cool watch, I love all titanium pams. Titanium in a 47mm pam is super easy to wear. I could go on all day, hope that helps. Share this post Link to post

GenTLe 1,501 Posted June 18, 2022 I'd add this to the lot, that red accent makes it really interesting: 1 Share this post Link to post
