Hello everyone,

I live in the US.  I used to buy a genuine watch whenever I took a vacation overseas.   A memento from the trip, time in my life, etc.   Fast forward.   Now I have a family and more financial responsibilities, so I have purchased anything in years.

I just spent a month with my family on vacation in Thailand and wasn't even thinking about watches.   We were out a night-time street market getting dinner and there were multiple stands selling watches and I had to take a look.

I didn't get too close or try anything on.  I wanted to avoid the hard sell from the street vendor.  From a distance, so many brands looked good.

A few google searches later,  I'm joining your forum.

Thank you, in advance, for your time and knowledge.

Hello & welcome- in general, the Thai street vendors sell a 'rougher' watch and the game is bartering on price.
