Panerai 332 ?

Recommended Posts

Anybody know if the Panerai 332 is repped ? (is that even the right term ?), if yes, is it a good one ?

Love everything about it, hope I can get me one

Not seen a rep of this particular model - but bear in mind that the split seconds chrono would not function even if there was a rep.

You'd probably do better with the PVD versions of the 308 that Robert sells in either quartz or auto versions:

Not a huge fan of the busy outer ring on the 308 :/

But thanks for the info :thumbsup2:

okay - well, the 253 is the other obvious contender - albeit without the waffle dial. I haven't seen a PVD version of it though, I'm afraid.

The waffle-patterned dial found on the Regatta models - you can see the pattern quite clearly on the photo you posted :thumbsup2:

Hoo, hehe, gotcha

After allot of googling I found this

http://www.watchesen.com/panerai-special-e...ating-case.html

Mary said she doesn't have this model, maybe one of the other tested sellers does :thumbsup2:

Watchesen? Sounds like a para-site..one of those that lives off the misspelling of more popular sites, such as Watcheden perhaps?

Lots of non-existent watches show up on scam sites, mate. Try the other trusted dealers by all means, but don't get your hopes up.

Yes the closest seems to be the 308 PVD chrono.

Even more obvious contender is the 286J, with waffle dial - albeit non PVD or Titanium case and false rattrapante button.

Nope - 253 is SS only, I'm afraid.

what about this

Any thoughts on this one

That one is not a PAM 332 rep, but seems like a nice watch. The movement is one of the best handwind chronos around in the rep world. Good luck!

Thanks mate might hold on a bit to see if there a better pam 332

See this!! but not from trusted dealer..

You mean?

As I understand, there's no good rep of this watch.

Look at the pics from "watchesenscammwhatever", what do you see?

Do your homework mate!

I also looking for one 332 with this...

1. rep straps are usually lousy. Buy your watch THEN buy your strap.

2. Read back a few posts. As I said earlier, lots of scam sites list watches that don't exist....

No, they look similar but are functionally quite different. The 332 is a rattrapante model with a split seconds chrono (two centre seconds hands). Not a feature you'll find in a rep, however, as none of the standard rep movements support that particular feature.
