It's the ARF 904L 2824 version. Really nice!

I've went for Clean

Did Australia not get a public holiday today?

No, but we're getting Thursday off in lieu.

HI, Gang!  Welcome to the start of a new week! Hope it's great for all.

For today, this old ROLEX 16610 (I believe. Not having a good day today). Nice, smooth sweep (courtesy of an A2836), great cyclops, great fit-and-finish; very satisfied with this -- short of having the expensive gen. dave;

Happy to have this one back in rotation after some days of being out of service. New 25J ETA 7750 and water tested to 3 bar as per gen (and what the caseback says)

@Popperini

Thanks, no wonder!

I was thinking if someone makes this dial I want a dozen of them!

Actually, a service dial on aged hands should have been a tell. For some reason, few reps are built that way........

Congrats!

Hmm... what makes you say it's a service dial? The watch was discussed over on TRF while it was for sale at HQ Milton, and I don't recall a service dial being mentioned (although there was plenty of criticism!). The dial is faded and chipped around the lower edge - and appears to be original. I think mine is a Mk. III variant (there are 4 known variations of the matte 16800 dial).

Because I'm paranoid no expert, I've just been double-checking, and all I can find is what I assumed - that any 16800 which has a service dial will have a glossy dial with WG surround markers, i.e. more like a 16610 dial.
