Glad that this PAMs  is liked so much; on boards a lot of people talk about it.

I like it, personally....one of the best looking PAMs  from the recent past...

It's a due isn't it? With a press on case back. It's nice if you like that kind of thing, but it's not really a Panerai for me. The military heritage is completely absent. They are desperate to find new styles, but for me the baby has gone out with the bath water.

Anyway,

this is the Lady Model

Good looking watches but....which is the connection between Panerai and the Moonphase ?

Are they scraping the bottom of the barrel ?

I mean, the Moonphase complication is super beautiful...but it's more appropriate on a Blancpain Villeret or a A. Lange und Sohne.

Panerai: Military Watches with 50 m Water Resistance and Moonphase.

Bah.

I don't mind it, not for me but I get that a watch company wants to attract a wide audience. Not every watch can be suitable for Rambo or gorilla wrists.

If they moved away from the Panerai silhouette people would criticise that.

I'm all for it,  still not a fan though.   It's good to see Panerai do something somewhat different.

I would like this a lot if it weren't for the God awful crown guard.

This would look better to be fair !

Imagine the bracelet on a lady’s wrist :giggle:

I like it as a dress watch alternative to a Datejust. Being on bracelet is up my street, just don’t really get on with leather.

Anything created after 2009 I don't really like.
The best they have already come up with, everything else is marketing ;).

Lets be honest, the military heritage has been gone for decades and was largely overstated by the brand.  It still has classic Panerai styling, just in a more compact form.

Does there need to be a "connection" to a complication?

Panerai haven't been military watches in a LONG time.  If you want a military watch buy a GShock.

This is an absolutely stunning watch, and I hope one of the factories makes a good rep of it in the future.  Unfortunately I doubt they'll rep it, and if they do they likely won't do it well, since they can't even get the 42mm reps the correct thickness.

Dial is pretty.    I have a feeling though being 38 mm it's going to lose some of the overall Panerai mojo.

Tbh I like their tourbillion watches, the skeleton ones are great.

Not phased about moon phase. It always makes a watch look fake even if real haha.

As a new guy to watches, the historical nuance is lost on me from lack of knowledge, something I will be working on over time.  That said, I think the watch is a beauty!  Thanks for sharing.
