pan - luminor marina black/broken crown fix advice request

Recommended Posts

Hello

I have a panerai luminor purchased thru kuvarsit 10 years ago.

Recently, the clown no longer winds and seems to have detached from internal parts.  I'm able to pull it out and change the time, but no longer clicks back to let me wind it up.

I'm located in NY/NJ USA, is this a common thing that any watchmaker can fix?

I called a few and was told they're unable to order panerai parts.

Writing here for any guidance as I'd hate to lose this watch it's my one and only and still my favorite.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Welcome. I feel for you. Nothing worse than a clown that doesn't behave itself!

Send the watch to Katt or Oascom - you'll find them in the 'Mods and More' section of the forum.

At 10 years old, you probably need a full movement service.   That should give you a good shot at another decade or more of enjoyment.  As said above, both are good options for repairs.
