Was scrolling through Ebay and found this Aquaracer , new with tags on sale for less than 1/2 price the price of the standard used watch. bought it with half the expectation it was a high quality rep.

But it's the real deal, should I feel guilty that the lady who sold it didn't know its' real value?

A grail watch for me - latest member of the family

Bumper movements from the 1950s are becoming rarer and the solid gold versions with untouched dials are the ones sought after by collectors. This one is an American 14k case - the movements were shipped without cases because import tax on gold was huge in the 1950s .
This one will definitely be worn - not locked away in a a display box

:DMy splurge of new watches continues this is the Quartz PRX which I bought just before I stumbled over a great deal on the Auto , so one or T'other will be in M2M soon depending which one is the better value ( Not impressed with the "Quick release" you need the fingers of a 5 year old to actually work it!)

Amongst the plethora of watches I bought in the last month are this trio of PRX,s one quartz and two Autos, two of which will be sold on to possible fund the chrono version.

Nice one! Is that an enamel dial? and where did you source the watch?

More than a little impressed with this Seiko- the dial colour is a killer and the bezel is stunning- changes colour depending on the angle - a ripper

Looks like enamel to me, but not sure that it is, could just be the really nice finish.

Got it off an EBay seller in the UK.
