Fitted a new strap to the complicated Timex IQ this morning, feeling that the sporty wrap around strap suited it mote than the dressy steel bracelet it came with...this "Hemsut" strap is marketed for the smart watches, is in 2 pieces so that it adds no height to the watch, useful for the thick Timex....

Looking good on the canvas mate, hadn’t considered that on the 243

HI, Gang!

Another lightly worn watch (in my collection) is this PARNIS GMT/MASTER II homage (old photo) on a gorgeous jubilee bracet. Good eyecandy, it's a pleasure to wear; but as I've noted before, I really haven't been in the mood to wear anything; I've been encouraged to get back into my hobby. dave:

Finally got my BK Kermit back, only the second time on the wrist the stem snapped. Took it to timpsons who said they would easily fix it …they returned it as I’m sure they couldn’t even get the back off :baby:. Took it to a local watchsmith and after finding case shavings under the crystal after the replacement stem I had to take it back there so I won’t be doing that again:frusty: finally sorted!

Today is Thursday, a/k/a PAMSDAY, gang, and I'm trying to get things back in order. This PAM RADIOMIR automatic I secured from someone somewhere. It's decent in its appearance and operation; the power reserve indicator is fake and thus doesn't work. The strap is soft and compliant & complements the "gold" case. I don't recall what it's value was. dave:
