pazuzu 11 Posted Saturday at 19:39 Chaps, Recently purchased a white face Seamaster 300 on here and the crown has never been great. Got it out of the box today and you just can’t screw the crown down. You can get it to catch for about a quarter of a revolution but then it will pop back open while wearing it. Philiusmaximus 4,321 Posted Saturday at 19:50 Vsf planet oceans were renowned for stripped threads on the crown and/or tube. Probably what's happened here. Cheapest and easiest fix is to cut down crown stem so crown sits flush against case but means it won't be watertight. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
