thejonnymagic 0 Posted April 9, 2023 (edited) Hello, hoping the community can help! The crown broke on my (almost new) VSF Omega Aqua Terra. I've asked a few watch menders in NYC to try fix it but they need the VSF replacement parts (they haven't been able to find an alternative that works). Does anyone know how/where I can get a replacement stem/crown or if there's any other way to fix this? Reading the forums, it seems like broken crowns are a fairly common problem. It's a lovely looking watch and don't want to have to throw it away because of this one little part! The guy I bought it off in China has been responsive but says it's very difficult to get a replacement part from VSF right now? Any advice much appreciated! https://clickpix.org/image/IMG-4527.3tZw4b Edited April 9, 2023 by thejonnymagic add image
GingerApple 7,285 Posted April 9, 2023 These are a right pain. Consider having the watch maker reinstall the crown with a shortened stem so that you can just push close it rather then screwing it tight. Obviously it won't be waterproof, but it should look the part.
GenTLe 1,501 Posted April 9, 2023 For the stem itself it's an easy fix with a stem extension: The crown... Well, that's a bit different story... You should measure yours and then try with one of these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004450936669.html https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004140891083.html Also check here (but the crown isn't available it seems now):
