Aramis2288 6,253 Posted April 28, 2023 Dear Community, Some time ago I sourced a VSF Semamaster Professional 300 for my mate. The watch has been worn daily and worked fine for about 5 months, but yesterday, it apparently stopped working. The movement itself was behaving fine, winding smoothly and keeping fairly good time, but all of a sudden it failed for no apparent reason. The movement is reported to be "Asia Clone A8800 " which I suspect is some Asian version of a simple ETA movement with fake decoration mounted on top used for Omega SMP300 reps bz at least 3 factories (VSF, ZF, ORF). I don't recall RWG or RWI users reporting these watches failing like that even though they are very popular... Do you, gentlemen, have any experience with this regard, or are able to provide any advice? Thank you in advance.
elconquistador 46 Posted April 28, 2023 Simple first suggestion is to take the back off and make sure that a movement tab or screw hasn't floated into the movement.Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
