Luca06150 0 Posted July 24, 2023 Hello everyone! I bought a GMT MASTER 2 PEPSI one year ago, for 600$ from a well known Thai retailer ( prestige Watch group ) However, a few weeks ago the movement of my bezel became a little harder than before and I wanted to disassemble the bezel to clean the grease. However, I couldn't clip the bezel back onto the watch, and the watch came to rest on top of it, but it wouldn't clip, so the bezel wouldn't hold... I've been told that this could be due to the bezel gasket being out of order, but I don't understand how this could prevent the bezel from clipping back onto the watch. Because when I remove the gasket and try to clip it on anyway, the bezel turns fine, but it doesn't clip on either. I've sent you several photos, and I'd like to have some pointers if you can on how to fit the gasket to the bezel. Thank you very much https://clickpix.org/image/E8C0F70C-5369-462C-81C9-24CDE70FF4AE.HzKlD5https://clickpix.org/image/5BA2537F-25BF-4C78-BC41-784D07EAA3F8.HzK6NXhttps://clickpix.org/image/98E27B44-431A-46F0-A0A4-13004D6E5E66.HzKrKihttps://clickpix.org/image/7436A94E-2783-4B9A-B93E-C1C1EA472AD2.HzKt1bhttps://clickpix.org/image/9BD5CA22-2469-45AB-B3C5-431B7F37C6F1.HzKBMphttps://clickpix.org/image/3A0ACA98-31BF-4AF6-9342-8A30C42FF247.HzKpoFhttps://clickpix.org/image/42FF35B8-1118-414B-A308-A51487E3E68C.HzKCTthttps://clickpix.org/image/FD18BA5E-D57C-41AF-A513-0DAC9CB8091B.HzKX5Ehttps://clickpix.org/image/AECF53E3-DBEE-448D-B51D-253CE90D900F.HzKPb2https://clickpix.org/image/6405FC81-86A9-43BE-B726-ED5C482B6D24.HzKdBn
GenTLe 1,509 Posted July 25, 2023 MAte, you need to paste the "BBcode" from clickpix to show images in here. Probably it's because this part: Needs to be placed around that slotted ring at the base of the crystal retainer ring visible here: and ONLY THEN you need to push on the bezel, carefully aligning the holes in it with the pins of the spring (1st pic upper). These holes (the 3 small ones): If you put the spring into the bezel and then try to push it onto the watch head it will never go into place.
Rokerite 2,446 Posted July 25, 2023 Or alternatively, instead of disassembling the whole bezel assembly from the watch case, just squirt a little wd40 under the bezel.
