Yes mate GF is the factory 

You will see the likes of 'GF' 'ZF' 'VSF'

The 'F' stands for factory and the letters before are the name of the factory

Some factories are generally better (and more expensive) than others regardless of the brand they have copied, whereas some brands are known to be good in certain models or certain brands (e.g, 'ZF renowned for Turdor watches'
