Gold / two tones

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I have been bitten by the gold bug as it seems and is pondering wether or not I should pull the trigger on a gold or a two tone watch.

Do any of you hold any experience in the matter?

cheers

I agree - an all gold bracelet doesn’t do it for me,  I prefer 2-tone, but all gold on leather floats my boat.

I've had a couple of two tones, but neither looked like the real thing!

I love two tone watches and personally think the reps look great. A lot of two tone gens are just plated too. I personally have never had an issue with wearing off the plating. I’m sure it happens but generally I take off my dress two tone watches before I dig ditches.

And I have 35 two tone reps.

Two Tone are disgusting and they can be used to measure how tacky you are:

1 TT = Mistakes can happen

2TT = You classless bitch

3TT = You horror show tacky motherfucker

4TT = Etc

Isn't that bracelet plated?  Actually after a bit of googling I believe all of that is plated.

Gold

Solid gold?  Bezel crown pushers and bracelet bits?  Because I see what looks to be that model for sale(2150) with disclaimers that some of the gold rubbed off.  Maybe I've got the wrong model but its identical to yours.

Wow that is a long link.  I've been wrong before.  Lots of them for sale.  This one says the plating has worn off the bracelet.  Doesn't cost enough for all that gold to be solid.

Its a beautiful watch though.
