 Are these the QC pics & he has posted them after the watch has arrived?

 

The YM comes with either a black dial or the falcon eye dial. The falcon eye dial looks like it has been buffed in places  across the dial like in his first pic. I guess he is saying his YM didn't come with the plain black dial but thats what the pics show.

I genuinely didn't have a clue what he was abusing that dude for, so my question was totally genuine. It's since been suggested to me that he had made an embarrassing mistake - which would explain why he won't answer my question. Who knows. I've lost interest.  Very strange though.

It looks like he posted the QC pics. The QC pics show a YM with a falcon dial. He must have approved the QC pics for the watch to be sent. The watch then arrived and now he is unhappy because he doesn't like the dial and made a first post stating this.

Now, @BadApple called the guy a Noob (are you still keeping up @GingerJesus) & this is where it gets interesting because the Ginger is confused by this.....

BadApple may have called the guy a noob (no point remembering his name because he hasn't dropped in since) as:

• he posted QC pics (a no no)
• the pics showed the dial clearly but he didn't say 'I don't want that one'
• he then approved QC pics of something he didn't want
• he gets the watch and then decided he doesn't like it
• he makes a negative first post rather than speaking with the dealer
• the negative first post could read as an ad for a back door sale
• BadApple might have had a bad day and rather than explain all this to the first poster, just decided to call him a noob.

Whilst your interpretation could well be right, the OP was so vague that we don't know for sure! Hence why I asked him to clarify.

He writes 1. Arrived today. 2. Not thrilled with it. 3. Up for discussion. 4. Bought a solid black dial. 

That could mean 1. The Raven's Eye arrived today. 2. I'm not thrilled with it. 3. What do you guys think of the Raven's Eye? 4. I've now bought a plain black version.

Either way, I still don't get BA's response. Is the OP had titled the thread 'Scammed by [named] TD!' or similar and then crammed it full of unwarranted vitriol, then sure, I'd get BA's reaction, but I'm just not sure OP is saying that!

Btw, the rules on posting of QC pics have been relaxed (post-acceptance). You can't post them to say 'Do you think my 9 o'clock marker is wonky' or similar, but you can post new watches for general discussion - which could be exactly what OP intended here ('3. Up for discussion').

On that note, I didn't realise Raven's Eye could be yellow!!?! I thought they always contained blue hints? I quite like OPs watch!

I'm not a fan of the falcon dial- it looks unfinished to me. All blue hints in the examples below.
