First thing I did was put the windows down in my car and listen to the turbos spool and engine ha like a big kid so will keep it a bit longer. You can't beat the sound of a proper combustion engine, especially one that pops and bangs when you rev it. Having had numerous BMW's and having a current 3 Series for my daily, I'd have a BMW over a Porsche any day, as the maintenance costs for Porsche is just crazy. Having had numerous BMWs and Porsches (and Mercs, and VWs... I do like a German motor...), I'll always go back to Porsche, because... Porsche is Porsche. But I'm nowhere near ready to ditch the petrol in favour of electric yet. Give me the rumble of my old Cayenne V8 any day. They gave me it for 2 days which was good of them but it’s not for me, even the fake noise didn’t make a difference .
