LuciferBrasso 20 Posted December 12, 2023 My seconds hand for the stop watch, won't reset to zero. The button does not reset the hand. It runs, tells time, stop watch starts and stops, just can't reset. Any answer is helpful. I have and will supply video.
NCRich 13,792 Posted December 12, 2023 Have you taken the back off the watch yet? Does the pusher work making contact with the lever on the movement?
LuciferBrasso 20 Posted December 12, 2023 Just looked at it. The pusher. There is a hollow space between the the inside and movement. Nothing being pushed to come in contact with the movement. Start and stop seem to have a pin to push. The hammer stays still. From my limited knowledge, it appears between cycles. Moved a hair but force will mess shit up. Question: Is it possible to put a new Venus 75 in the watch?
NCRich 13,792 Posted December 12, 2023 Well that isn't a Venus 75. It is an ST19 and comes in several variations. What is the watch? You should post a picture of the back.
LuciferBrasso 20 Posted December 12, 2023 Nothing making contact with movement
NCRich 13,792 Posted December 12, 2023 I don't think there is anything wrong with the movement. It appears the reset pusher has been unscrewed from the case. Look at the difference between the two pushers. If you screw it back down and use something to hold the bottom while you unscrew the pusher correctly. Anyone else see this? LuciferBrasso 20 Posted December 12, 2023 I see that now. I'm sure how fix that. I did what you suggested. Perhaps I didn't it right, because nothing
LuciferBrasso 20 Posted December 12, 2023 Didn't work. No pin inside like the other pusher It pressing on nothing.
fatarms 7,779 Posted December 12, 2023 Go to 28:45 in this video. You can see the entire hammer part that needs to move when that pusher is pushed. In the picture, it looks like the end of that pusher is actually below the hammer? Hard to tell.
LuciferBrasso 20 Posted December 12, 2023 That pusher doesn't reset it. That starts and stops.
LuciferBrasso 20 Posted December 12, 2023 Yellow circle. What is it supposed to look like? Nothing in there. No pin like the other.
LuciferBrasso 20 Posted December 12, 2023 The reset hammer doesn't move in my watch. Like in the video.
NCRich 13,792 Posted December 12, 2023 Pusher is defective then. What is the watch?
GingerApple 7,304 Posted December 12, 2023 Can you reset the chrono hand when you have the caseback off and access to the movement? What I mean is, can you get a small screwdriver in there to press the lever to get it to reset? If so, reset it and never use the chrono again! Out of interest, why do you use the chrono?
LuciferBrasso 20 Posted December 13, 2023 No. It's a Rolex replica 6263 with scree down pushers. I don't know how to do that at the moment, but will investigate. I had the back off. Reset hammer does not move, even with tender force. I'm really careful with anything hands on movement. I'll also say there is some stuff you can't do unless one has the appropriate tools. I don't use the chrono all the time but I do. Sometimes I run it for a few min just to keep it going, check it. I had problems with the chrono movement but that subsided. Everything works. Except reset pushers. I'll pay to have a watchmaker fix it. I will have to.
