Pesman 9,461 Posted January 16 Pesman I think the PD is actually more appealing than the Gen . .. .. Agree if the moonswatch is the 'inspiration' basically it's a steel version. The black edged hands makes it nice and legible and no date keeps it tidy. Decent weight for quartz as well. Update- apparently this ' Alaska' LE was the inspiration... Sent from my SM-G977B using Tapatalk

dave47 6,545 Posted January 16 Hi, Gang! Well, I believe I've had my fill of hospitals and ERs (although they all had fantastic staffs) for now (hospitalized for several days last week), I hope to finally be my old, cantankerous self for now, heh! This nice looking and well made PAGANI DESIGN submariner is a continuation of several days' wear, including today. I've discovered these off brand watches to be worth exploring; well made, stylish, etc., very comfy on the 'ole wrist. Don't remember when purchased, but I"m glad I did. dave (old pics.):

Redfire1066 11,163 Posted January 17 Back in October 2019, this was my first watch I had purchased from a RWG TD. When it arrived I was disappointed as it was a "bag 'o' spanners". (The TD who supplied it is now no longer an RWG TD). So, off it went to the nice man known as Rolie to put it back together and service it, great job . Then I discovered BK (now retired) , so off it went across the pond for some further tlc, another great job . Then I found out about Spongebob (was not an easy man to track down) and his legendary Bezel Inserts (please don't ask how much $$$ ), so, that was a nice addition that BK helped me to coordinate, and yet again another great job . At this point I am thinking maybe I should just have bit the bullet and purchased a Gen .... lol. (ohh, I forgot the watch also made a spurious trip to Berlin, Germany to a dude who then submitted he could not do what I was seeking and quickly returned it ), If I could have collected the Air miles from the trips around the world this watch has made, well . . . enough said. Thing is that, 4 years ago after the love the watch was given by the above legends and by then for sure it was indeed a better overall watch for the $$$ spent ($$$ not likely to be recuperated) and tlc given, . ... I think that today factories like Clean & others are producing better right off the shelve . . .. but additionally the prices are going up & up & up too .
