Helmut Wong 36 Posted January 30 I tried on the titanium ploprof in the omega store and I've been bitten by the bug again. It wears really small due to the shark mesh bracelet, and the lighter weight makes it easier to wear. Seamaster Titanium Chronometer Watch 227.90.55.21.99.002 | OMEGA UK® (omegawatches.com) I'm on the lookout for a reasonably priced gen and whilst researching I came across some reps. Omega Seamaster Ploprof Titanium Men's Watch 227.90.55.21.04.001 - Etsy UK I cant find any info on it. I've checked some of the trusted dealer sites and cant find anything. Is it a scam? Redfire1066 10,947 Posted January 30 Difficult to source a rep of these now… does it have to be Omega? There are a few homages out there https://www.chronopolis.co.uk/blogs/news/the-5-best-affordable-alternatives-to-the-omega-ploprof?utm_content=cmp-true
Helmut Wong 36 Posted January 30 (edited) Thanks for the info. To be honest I'm pretty much committed to buying a gen ploprof in the titanium. I was just surprised when I stumbled across the rep listed above. It can also be found on a few other sites when you google replica titanium ploprof. Just wondering if anyone has any info on it. My guess is it's a scam. I've searched on every rep watch site and reddit and cant find any info on a new replica ploprof. Does this titanium rep even exist?

"I've not heard of a PloProf rep for years." My thoughts exactly. "Popperini cornered the market a while back, and has all of them!" Lol, I sold my white ploprof to him. Hope it's still going strong. Popperini 17,856 Posted January 30 Hi @Helmut Wong! Yeah the white Ploppy's still going strong, while I resist frequent pleadings to sell it... There's no titanium Ploppy rep. If there was, the fans would be screaming the place down about it. Any you see are, as you rightly suspected, a scam.

FudgyDocker 3,500 Posted January 31 I think that the only way you are going to get close is to get one of the Steeldive homages, which I think may still be readily available?https://www.steeldives.com/collections/plo-prof-watches/products/steeldive-1969-mechanical-1200m-diver-watch-1
Redfire1066 10,947 Posted January 31 If you are stuck on Titanium the LM-7 https://ocean7watchco.com/products/lm-7-professional-hardened-titanium-diver is just that. Also Swiss Movement & genuine depth rating 1250 meters. More expensive than the other homages at £1199 . .. additionally there may also be VAT & Import charges if in the UK. But opted for a Willard Seiko instead - cos a watch buddy recently asked for a pic of it!
