Got any details? Brand? etc

Shure, it´s a Candino Ocean Solar series GMT, commemorating the first circumterestrial jurney of a solar ship and Candino were one of the sponsors.

The dial mimics the solar pannels...

Think these were released around about 10 or 11 years ago, around 2013  . .. .  not so easy to find one for purchase now though  . ..

Digging around in my No4 watch box I found this Seiko Kinetic SKA196P1 modified with a quartz movement, has a surprisingly good bracelet for a Seiko.

As if Rolex and Grand Seiko had a love child the Wise Adamacus  904L steel with a 24kt gold filled dial comes in a fantastic presentation box but sadly the ostrich strap is missing.

One for the motor racing fans, from my No 4 watch box, in  my "Irony" sub collection  is the Valentino Rossi VR46 Carbon Fibre tribute by .........T.W. STEEL   on, appropriately, an Italian carbon fibre strap.    See there is some thinking behind my hobby.............honest..............it's not an addiction................honest............

They're certainly very well put together, Paul.

Overall, for me sometimes better design and price point than its bigger brother in the  "Epsom" family.   A few years ago I picked up one of these gorgeous models from City Watches for a bargain £152  . . .    .. .  I let it go to someone who was not really interested in watches but was very taken with it  . . .  I have kept an eye open to replace it like for like .. . . .  don't think I have seen one for sale for less than twice that price plus VAT . ..

. The photo below is not mine and is courtesy of "Worn & Wound" website . . ..   Ko2hKb.jpeg
