BadPickle 2,806 Posted May 4 old skool Jackson 4 liner build today for a heavy banko weekend session On 02/05/2024 at 22:55, dave47 said: HI, Gang, and Welcome to PAMSDAY! For today, this old Panerai **** secured several years ago & worn occasionally. It's a no date, which I've come to prefer with Pams; just gives the dial a cleaner appearance. Of course, one of the strap pins worked itself loose & was soon wear the H*** my watch went; never found it so I'll have to cannibalize one of my little worn Pams to secure another strap pin. dave: Sweet piece Dave

There is a choice of three different Second Hands available, two different dial colours available and a choice of Hroudland Text branded dial or not.https://wrwatches.com/collections/hruodland/products/hruodland-square-retro-chronograph It is a Quartz, but I thought it still looked a worthy retro homage watch for only $189US. The reviews about the overall retro look of the watch where welcome. But alas their strap was far from practical. The strap links are quite big and thick too but it wears comfortable and easy with no issues for me. Now this one I have is the V2 version, which I was not expecting, but they have changed and improved some characteristics on the strap, this one comes with the sought after 5 micro holes for fine adjustment rather than the previous useless divers extension. It also came with a cracking screwdriver tool set included, one of the best I have seen from a microbrand for the strap screws (the screwheads are tiny and reviews/comments state some buyers had a struggle to remove them. There is no anti reflective coating on the underside of the dial which is a shame, but I think this may be because of the attached tachymeter bezel on the underside of the glass. I seen this watch advertised on Ebay here in the UK and the photo was of a Blue Dialed Watch . .. .. . .. but to my surprise it turned out to be the black dialed version which was always going to be my preferred choice, seems the UK based seller had used a library photo of the blue one from WRWatches when they listed it and advertised it as an unwanted gift. Came unopened with all original packaging intact. Purchased this one at a bargain price with next day delivery for £92 = $115US which is a steal and it turned out to be the much improved V2 which I honestly did not even know was available. Hi Paul...Thanks for your detailed explanation. And sorry if I'm only answering you now. I have to compliment you on the excellent taste and the nice choice you made. Initially at first glance I thought it was a Seiko... but that wasn't the case. I thought of a chrono movement like the ones fitted to Porsche Ds... i.e. the 7750s with date and day. But it doesn't seem that way...I'd be curious to know what quartz movement it is? Best regards. On 02/05/2024 at 14:00, Redfire1066 said:
