Alan32 862 Posted May 8 Today from my No6 watchbox I have the Stauer "Jimmy Stewart " Film star and ww2 /Cold War pilot signed chronograph , with faux bronze case and a rather comfortable thick leather strap. the only complain is the Chronograph hands are on the sub dials making it practically useless as an actual chronograph. I have been waiting years now for the battery to run out so I can open it up and possibly replace it with a VK movement.

I actually visited The Wing in Henley last week for the tour (which was very enjoyable) and got to handle some of the new models. I took some pics but this is probably the wrong thread to post them. The new Supermarines looked quite nice but they don’t interest me (as I have several better divers) and the Terra Novas were also quite attractive on the wrist, especially the power reserve model. Bremont are trying to expand internationally so need to appeal to more people and these watches do offer good value, even if they seem slightly bland to the core Bremont enthusiasts…

I am not sure if the de-militarisation de-britiification works fully for me, but they had to do something to make it profitable - love this video
