Grand Seiko Replicas

Hello,

Is any factory creating Grand Seiko Replicas?
Especially ones with "snowflake" dials.
I understand that they are not as desirable as Rolex and others, but are still not cheap watches.

They are out there, although to my knowledge there is no higher end named factory making them. Pretty much all lower to mid-tier no name factories

Try AliExpress  …. Not high end but there is a few models to choose from none the less.

There is a thread in the “Ali Express mess” topic. Snowflake dials are hard to get but there are definitely reps on Ali. Caveat emptor because these guys are not TD’s , far from it!

The Red Dial one is very interesting...a funny note: the original has a 36.000 bph movement , the Rep, based on Seiko's own NH34 ....is not running at 28.000 but instead at 21.600 bph !

 

So, the second hand sweeping would be VERY different from the real deal but...is something to be expected  !

I got this one. Since it's quartz also in his genuine form, there's no problem with "hi-beat" not "hi-beating" and such. Have to say I really REALLY love it.

I'd just avoid to get a "spring drive" or an "high beat" on the dial with a quartz ticking movement...

For me personally the gens are worth it here (I now have 3) - the reps will be very disappointing as low beat movements and no zaratsu polishing etc - I’d stick to other super reps in the rep department
