neil 0 Posted December 9, 2024 Hi everyone! recently bought a VSF 1074 Bronzo....love the watch but the movement keeps stopping! cant find anyone to work on the Asian P900 movement in the US ( unless anyone can point me in the right direction!) Id even send it over to Europe, just dont want to send it back to china!....I was also thinking about swapping out the movement, ( i know it will be an issue with the display caseback but would rather have a functioning watch) anyone know where I can get a replacement P900 movement or anyone know what I can replace it with that will fit case? LOL....thought you were being 'smart'.....so responded accordingly...I apologise. I should have been more accurate in my 'movement keeps stopping' quote. Even after winding the correct amount the movement stops abruptly....no given time...could be 5 mins after winding ...could be 15hrs. Sometimes a little swirl or 'shake' will get it going sometimes not, seems like there is something jamming the movement ...like it needs cleaning/servicing but I cannot find anyone that will even 'take a look' at the P900 movement . stormtooper4 8 Posted January 8 Thats going to be a challenge to fix potentially. This is the issue with specialised copy movements like the P900 . You can try one of the forum repairers as I suspect finding a local watchsmith might be tricky. I feel your pain , when a watch we like dont work like it should. Bring back 7750 and 2836's and closed caseback
