BC1221 44 Posted July 31, 2014 ^^^ you cant overwind automatic movements. when you first get it, just give it a good 20 or so turns and put it on your wrist. if it sits in the case too long and winds down, just pick it up, swirl it around a little to get it going. wear it for a little while and then set the time/date. great list. i do pretty much all of these things. i prefer to use baby oil instead of WD40 on the bracelet. i also lock tite decorative screws and sometimes screws on the bracelet. these are hard to find if you lose one. also take the rotor off, oil that and the jewels on the auto bridge. fairly easy if you have some oilers and mobious 9010. oh and grease the crown gasket. as well. and at voiding the "warranty"
Escapizm 23 Posted August 2, 2014 I shall be tightening and threadlocking my strap screws, just noticed sat having coffee at local swimming baths my day old 2014 bk DSSD had a screw hanging out, would have been gutted to have kicked it down the car park accidentally. JSJ 0 Posted August 2, 2014 Yeah, 'voiding the warranty' is hilarious. Like Amazon How would the TD know whether it was your noodle inside or the 'factory' had left it there? Make sure you keep all the original packaging too.
