Doing my bit for British watch making I bought this Duckworth Prestex Bolton chronograph,  Love the two step "Porcelain" dial and blued hands. Not so keen on the VK64 movements 24 h dial.

Can’t  believe I have never heard of Duckworth watches … Just googled them - remember the old  jewellery business and bought my wedding rings there about 40 years ago before I moved away from Bolton. 
Small world innit? So many good looking micro brands around these days  - the watchmaking sector is changing al the time. I will definitely giving them some business very soon, the porcelain dial  is cool for sure 

Meanwhile - much older more established brand GP , great quality watches - not worn this one for years, amazing what you find at the back of the cupboards.  25 years old watch and it looks like new

Here is my latest pickup.  A gen Omega that came from the factory with a licensed Bulova Tuning Fork movement.  Smooth as buttah.  Put it to your ear, and you will hear a hum at 300hz.
