Alan32 1,496 Posted yesterday at 08:47 Doing my bit for British watch making I bought this Duckworth Prestex Bolton chronograph, Love the two step "Porcelain" dial and blued hands. Not so keen on the VK64 movements 24 h dial.
OLDBLOKE74 10,310 Posted yesterday at 09:59 @Alan32 Can’t believe I have never heard of Duckworth watches … Just googled them - remember the old jewellery business and bought my wedding rings there about 40 years ago before I moved away from Bolton. Small world innit? So many good looking micro brands around these days - the watchmaking sector is changing al the time. I will definitely giving them some business very soon, the porcelain dial is cool for sure Meanwhile - much older more established brand GP , great quality watches - not worn this one for years, amazing what you find at the back of the cupboards. 25 years old watch and it looks like new

Daffy 165 Posted 14 hours ago @splke Here is my latest pickup. A gen Omega that came from the factory with a licensed Bulova Tuning Fork movement. Smooth as buttah. Put it to your ear, and you will hear a hum at 300hz.
