forum messaging question...

I (believe) I have sent 2 private messages, but none appear in my "sent" box??

 

 

I am a noob here, but not on the interweb... heck, I even admin my own forum... but I have never seen a messaging system that doesn't keep a copy of sent messages in the "sent" box... am I on message probation??

Make sure, you enabled this box:

Options Add a copy of this message to my sent items folder

I see that option (now) below the text box... but, it looks like I have to check that box every time I want to send a message... is there not a way to make that a permenant setting?

You have to check the box each time.
