houndoggie 58 Posted December 1, 2009 Nice Yachtmaster.. Looks gen to me! Today arrived my new TAG Heuer Aquaracer Automatic 300m Diver. I didn't get a chance to size the bracelet, so I put it on this inexpensive ebay mesh I also just received today. I really like this watch. It is discontinued and was a pretty good deal. It has an ETA 2824-2, sapphire crystal, 300m WR, applied markers with superluminova, and a nice bracelet (not pictured). It is about 41mm big and wears just like my 2254.50. I guess this would be called the poor man's blue Bond Omega. I'll do some nice lightbox pics tomorrow.

houndoggie 58 Posted December 1, 2009 nice HD. much better than the sales pic. Thanks. I'll do better pics tomorrow. I'll have to say, this watch is REALLY nice. It is well made and has a nice classic design that won't be tiresome in a few years. The only nitpick is that the bracelet, though very nice, has a stamped steel deployant clasp.. (much like the Submariner has)

Massimo 53 Posted December 6, 2009 I got my PVD Fiddy from Getat yesterday. The crown guard is the first Panerai style one I've had which feels like it's actually pressing the crown down, it's nice and stiff. I went for the superlume option, which is a bargain at an extra $6. So far I've only seen it in a dark corner during daylight, but it does look nice and lumey I've taken some quick photos. Wish I'd ordered the black strap now, but it's my own fault, I didn't notice you could specify black until some time after I'd ordered it. Just taken in a dark corner on "auto": Super stealthy! KinCaidk 0 Posted December 6, 2009 Very nice Massimo... It's looks VERY well made.... I can't wait for my 111 superlumed from Tat to arrive.
greg_r 81 Posted December 6, 2009 Looks great, Massimo. I've got one just like it on the way (actually I think I would have had mine yesterday, but I was out when the postman tried to deliver - gotta pick it up tomorrow).
mad dawg 0 Posted December 6, 2009 Looks good, I got a Luminor PVD on order too. Should be here any day.
sconehead 5 Posted December 6, 2009 Looks good, what size wrist are you M? I've toyed with getting a fiddy but I reckon a UPO is about as big as I can go...
JohnG 41 Posted December 7, 2009 Very nice Massimo, congrats!
greg_r 81 Posted December 7, 2009 Got this today. Same as Massimo's, but on a light tan strap which matches the colour of the numerals rather well. Classy look
KinCaidk 0 Posted December 7, 2009 Cool Greg. It's superlumed right?? Nice job on not getting the numerals green...
greg_r 81 Posted December 7, 2009 Yup - superlumed. Don't know how good the lume is yet as I've not had chance to try it. Watch is really nice quality for the dough though - not up to the standards of my PWC ultimate Fiddy, of course, but a whole lot better than any similarly priced budget Fiddy rep I've seen. mad dawg 0 Posted December 7, 2009 Just arrived from Robert. Super fast delivery, <1 week. CG has a problem (see pic) not sure what I will do Normal rep strap will require replacing. Dosen't have too much of that ugly blue AR. Needs a bit of work but, I think it is a great base to start with.
JohnG 41 Posted December 7, 2009 Some very nice Fiddies there!!! I can't wait to build my first vintage/fantasy 6152.... I have TWO molnijas now, in addition to the one I am not going to separate from dial...
greg_r 81 Posted December 7, 2009 Can't wait to see what you come up with, John - sounds like yet another watch I'll be drooling over
Massimo 53 Posted December 7, 2009 Looks good, what size wrist are you M? I've toyed with getting a fiddy but I reckon a UPO is about as big as I can go... Seven inches. I debated about chancing the Fiddy but decided to go for it and it does look massive - but then it is massive! Decided I'm happy wearing it though and it's surprisingly comfortable. A PO is on my list when funds allow and I'm still not sure whether to stick with the 42mm or go for the 45mm. For optimum comfort, look and feel though, I'm more and more convinced a classic 40mm Sub is perfect for me.
