Leather strap wanted for my omega

Recommended Posts

nlnlnlnene

I have a slim omega watch that has a brushed SS bracelet.

I would like to convert it to a dress watch by fitting leather straps on it.

Any suggestions as to where to get these?

Thanks.

On a related note, does anyone have any suggestions for what type of leather strap to get?

Mine looks almost exactly like this one although the dial is not exactly the same.

Plenty of strap sellers around. http://www.watchbandcenter.com is a good source of straps for all sorts of watches.

great thanks.

what do you think about the choice of straps based on the way my watch looks?

since it's brushed, i guess it wasn't really meant to be a true dress watch but I would like to convert it to be one (it's a gen and has sentimental value).

I can now get you a good quality leather strap, branded "Omega", and with an Omega buckle or deployant.

Delivery is around 4 weeks.

Can't see your pic to offer any thoughts though.

Shoot a PM if interested.

A pic of the watch would help as would an idea of lug width...

Personally, however, I tend to go for croc or gator straps on dress watches. Unpadded (or lightly padded) if the watch is a slim one. Lots of choices out there.

Taking Offshore up on his offer might be a good idea too! :lmao:
