I received the strap yesterday and was very impressed with the quality of the strap, the realism, and the comfort. It looks as near to a real croc strap as any croco grain strap I've seen. Definitely a good buy if you don't want to spend the $100+ to get a nice quality croc or are a PETA member. They are essentially the same watch..except the 196 has polished bezel, polished CG. 251 is all brushed. Same movement, case, crystal (which is fantastic) pretty good lume.
