Apart from the obvious subdial spacing,

If you can find any flaws anything at all please let me know.

Looks really nice :D Who are you getting it from, and how much is this setting you back by? (If you don't mind sharing)

I'm anything but an expert, so perhaps someone else with better knowledge could confirm or deny this, but I've been given to understand that the gens don't have a flat crystal like this rep does. Still a lovely watch though.

Very nice mate, no idea whatsoever if it's accurate or not, you must be pretty friendly to let people get that close !

Enjoy your new watch :)

Strange 1st post...

By that you mean it wasn't the usual "FIND ME THIS" or "DOES IT LOOK REAL?" :)

- the sapphire is not curved.

- the white markers at 3, 6 and 9 are smaller than on the gen.

- one of the subdials is just an hour hand repetition.

Cheers.

Far from an expert, so take what I say with a grain of salt:

- The subdials are too far apart

- The caseback is solid black on the gen

- The bottom subdial just mirrors the hour hand. Several people have 'modded' this so it stays in the "12" position. No idea how they do that.

- The glass isn't curved like the gen.

In response to some of the comments in this thread, please go read this:

http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...showtopic=14317

However, to re-cap the salient point here. QC photos are NOT for deciding whether the watch looks like gen. That should be researched BEFORE ordering. Once the order has been placed, you are committed to buy provided the watch offered is the same spec as the watch ordered. QC photos are for checking that there are no obvious faults (i.e. marks on the crystal, hands fallen off, bracelet broken etc.) or divergences from the watch originally offered for sale nothing else.

How many times does this need to be said?

Posting QC pics to find flaws is not on!

BTW I ordered an Omega moonie also from Robert, and Can't wait to get it.. An for the rep moonie, it looks great !You will be happy with it, just don't tell everyone that it is gen, because it is not.

+1

It has to be said that there is NO perfect 1:1 rep of the moonwatch, so this is as good as it gets. Buy it and enjoy!
