Pihlippe: I think that's the first time I've seen a Panerai on a crinkly rubber strap!

Not so common, I believe.

The strap's owner will get it back if a repair is possible.

Since I have never repaired a watch before, it can go very badly. :fail:

Actually that a very good size comparison. I think we all wonder how big the Naut wears compared to a Rollie. Thanks!

My favorite too. Got it from my employer when I worked as a diver, early 90's. The watch is from 88 though.

If I remember correctly, was this the first watch with a digital depth gauge produced.

Have tried to obtain new movement, but without success. Those to be found on Ebay is too expensive ..

Have had the digital display to work again though.

Trying to get the hands running again these days ...

Mine took in water at 25 m after a faulty battery change. Left it to dry for 3 weeks and then it was good to go again. No issues what so ever.

Lucky you - Especially if it was in salt water

If I get it to work 100% again, I will post some pictures of the project.

Good luck on the Aqualand resurrection!

This SM300 has been to the beach and tasted the salt. So far, so good:
