So a couple of things: Sent my Pam 359 off to kenny for a spot of modding, waterproofing and service plus a relume job..love the work Kenny and love the lume colour..I put it on my new Getat sand colour super thick strap, bought from HD at a real deal of a price..and to say it was like new..well there was not a mark on it/inside or out!! bargain..

thanks Kenny for the excellent work and thanks H.D for the strap.

Second point..bought a Sub from a well known dealer recently, nice watch but turned up with a loose bezel and the numbers not painted...dealer was not interested in returning it for such a small 'problem' and was advised use the dental floss method to tighten it and paint the bezel myself.

So the dental floss method yeah have to say it works a treat.

now the paint job.

as you can see from the pictures (compared to my dssd) the engraving has been made but the white paint was missing.Using the mod your DSSD guide on R.W.G. thread,I decided to purchase the necessary paint brush and recommended paint 9from the states) it arrived yesterday and had a bash.

The start

the end result.

So am I happy...well I have done my best and for sure it's better than it was,but I am O.C.D and I cant say that i am over the moon...so much so that i will prob remove all the paint with thinners, photograph the watch and will put it up for a silly price for sale in the next couple of days..or I may perhaps look at purchasing a new insert, replace and bugger the watch up totally!!..can't decide yet...any ideas welcome and any recommendations to purchase new insert gladly received.

Just wondering... how much is the shipping from Cyprus to Kenny? Around 7 €?

(so I know for the future when my watch will be ready for modding :) )

My subconscious is also dropping subtle hints about getting one of those Pam 359's :)

Thumbs up for Kennys work!

He also repaired my non working Pam 219's movement a few weeks ago.

No end to his horological powers I tell ye!
