Member X 91 Posted August 5, 2009 The dial fits ok then!
JohnG 41 Posted August 5, 2009 The dial fits ok then! Yes! Weird, but it fits fine, the mini fiddy must accept a bigger dial than Getat's 44mm luminors... Also, here are the hands and a pre-V screw in buckle for $10 shipped off the bay, and the GS strap I got second hand. The only thing is, is is NOT 24MM!!!! It is 22mm! The guy I bought it from sold it to me before he even received it, but I wonder at the other two before him, did they know? In any event, I can use it on another watch, no biggie. And if I can't will resell it, as a 22mm. Note CLEAN mousepad:
alphakazi 0 Posted August 5, 2009 nice job on the pad.. :P I've done away with mouse pads for good and bought a desk with a perfect surface for mice + cordless G7 = pure freedom love that dial - looking forward to the finished product with the glowinc/graphite

I think for now I am going to leave the dial alone, but I am going to order a sterile sandwich dial from Jackson to do the stealth lume on - this dial has a gloss on the black numerals that is really nice, so I will use a standard sandwich/stealth lume to finish the project, this will be an intermediate dial.... JohnG 41 Posted August 6, 2009 I'd like to do it to my one in real life but I have no idea how I would as I'd just feck up the dial knowing me lol yeah that would be a job - would have to remove all numbers and indices, paint, replace numbers and indices, what a nightmare... Member X 91 Posted August 6, 2009 yep! lol I can't imagine they're all punched through the dial, probably just stuck on, so getting everything lined up again would be a challenge...

Hmm, when I get my new one, will pull the movement and dial and check it out. If they ARE, it would be worth it, but like you I doubt they are.
