g.man 0 Posted September 7, 2011 (edited) Oooooh, don't you just love it when parcels arrive! Brilliant transaction with Mary on this stuff. Took a couple of weeks in all to sort the deal and receive the goods, but throughout the process Mary was an absolute star. There were a couple of major problems with the first Cal 16 on the QC pics she sent me, so the watch had to be swapped out for another one at her end before I was happy. Mary never complained, and just got on with the task at hand. Exemplary customer service indeed. The Tag Heuer Titanium Cal 16 Carrera is a thing of sporty beauty and my shoddy iphone pics don't begin to do it justice. It's the top of the line version with A7750 movement. Tells are the usual blue screws on the movement and no arrows on the Tag logo on the dial. Frankly you would need a microscope to spot this though. The standard black face Carrera I've had three years now, but I've never cared for the bracelet much so I asked Mary to get me a rubber strap for it. I can confirm that these are indeed a ballache to fit, but it's on now and it looks wonderful. Definitely gives an old friend a whole new lease of life. All in all (assuming the Cal 16 keeps good time), I'm a very happy bunny! The carbon fiber dial is indeed a thing of beauty. The way it catches the light and changes appearance as you move your wrist is stunning.
