07.09.2011 - The RAID Suisse-Paris 2011 Opens in Style

The commencement of the annual RAID SUISSE-PARIS is always an exceptional occasion. On the 18th August 2011, over 180 historic cars made an impressive start to the 2011 RAID as they began their breathtaking rally to Paris. To mark the opening of the event, Oris Chairman, Ulrich Herzog presented the winner of last year’s RAID with the winner’s watch – the Oris RAID 2011 Chronograph, produced by the Swiss Watch Manufacturer at Hoelstein near Basel.

To celebrate this year’s event, Oris also revealed two new distinctive limited edition watches at the opening ceremony. The Oris RAID 2011 Chronograph Edition (500 pieces) and Oris RAID 2011 Alarm Edition (50 pieces) have been inspired by the characteristic dashboard design of the Austin Healey 100M 1953, which was the honourable winner of the 2010 RAID.
