Pihlippe 1,264 Posted September 13, 2011 The title says it all I belive. The cause: I sendt a dealer on this forum a email on saturday 10. I'm still waiting for replay. Okey it was on saturday and maybe off work like sunday too. I do not know if dealers here are working with this full time or only part time? Today it's tuesday and two working days past... How long should you wait as a paying customer, before you contact another dealer? Should you send a reminder once a day or once a week? Have these dealers so many paying custumers so they can ignore a $200-$250 sale? If I had not answered a customer who order goods within two days at my work, I had certainly lost the sale. Luthier 1 Posted September 13, 2011 Your avatar distract people from reading your post, so, I had to cover it with duck tape. Now I can answer : 1. Every dealer get 50-100 emails a day. If he/she will spend just 2 minutes to answer each email, it will take a few hours. 2. No part/time dealers for sure. 3. Nobody ignore you, just wait, and you'll get your reply. 4. Okey, in season at work I get aprox the same quantity, so I know how it is. 2. Good to know 3. Okay so i'm impatient then. 4. Well, in top season we have aprox 3000 cars (customers) in our workshop within aprox 4 weeks (150 cars/day) not so many as our dealers maybe,but do understand the pessure. pollux1 3 Posted September 13, 2011 I hope all of you guys remember that this is STILL an illegal practice we choose to take part in, dealers aren't like Walmart or such like, there isn't some rep nirvana where they all go and sip espresso whilst delicate handmaidens bring them their chosen wares, from which of course they cherry pick only the best for YOU. I know it's a bloody pain waiting on a rep but consider the alternative, which is going to an AD and shelling out between 5 to fifty times more, ok you get the real thing but where's the effing fun in that.
