Turbo 0 Posted September 15, 2011 Hey guys- I'm looking for reccomendations on a dress watch with either a white, silver, or grey face -- I'm looking for something that really "pops" visually. Would probably wear it on a brown strap. Budget wise, I want to keep the price reasonable, so no $600 tourbillon movements, please :-) I would tend to prefer a simpler watch (function wise) to eliminate potential problems/issues with automatic or hand wind movements. Fire away!
myaz 3 Posted September 15, 2011 There are so many possibilities and you don't expound much. White would pop more than silver or grey. The face of the Patek Calatrava is instantaneously recognizable by anyone who knows Patek and has a timeless design. The crenelated edge here dresses it up even more but other versions come without it Photo credit goes to member Baldrick
flamagic 0 Posted September 15, 2011 I second the Patek!

myaz 3 Posted September 16, 2011 Hey Jdoe, I've seen a similar Breguet with a slightly different guilloche pattern on rep sites, it's on my list..... but so are lots of others, and I assumed Mary could get it. Are you sayin' she couldn't?. Not hijackin' here. The OP might like that Breguet.

You can get gold plated without the "twirl", or SS with the twirl, but not SS without the twirl Edited September 16, 2011 by jdoe
