Akira 0 Posted September 21, 2011 Hey mates, I need some help. I have a 7750 hand wind in front of me. Somehow I'm not able to release the crown. I tried it in the winding position, but even with a little more pressure on the release-button it does not come out. It stays inside the movement! Keyless looks like it should to me. Any ideas? Cheers Akira
torobravo 9 Posted September 21, 2011 You need to open the back case, there is a release button which you can press with a screw driver

Cynikal.Mindset 1 Posted September 21, 2011 remove it in the date set position...press button gently and it should slide right out sometimes you have to press the button with seemingly "excessive" force
Silverspeed 10 Posted September 22, 2011 I think it was Ziggy that said it is better to remove the stem in time-setting position, so that practically none of the gears are engaged
MikeMcNair 0 Posted September 27, 2011 Quick-set OR winding are fine, the problem here is the kid-gloves. Don't be afraid to push the button rather hard on a 7750. I often will hold the dial facing left, press hard from the right, and pull the crown and stem out with my teeth. Works EVERY time!!!!
Luthier 1 Posted September 27, 2011 Aha... I pressed hard, and now you're fixing my watch, replacing the movement. :(
