Pihlippe 1,294 Posted September 22, 2011 You guys are a real bundle of laughs! ;) Everybody needs a DSSD in their collection! :P Jepp, everybody that collecting watches must have one. If someone comments on your watch and you say you collect watches. I'll bet that the next question is, which Rolex do you have? BTW I dont have one yet. SirDomino 0 Posted September 22, 2011 (edited) I was looking for a DSSD, but it's too big for me, i'd better go for a sub! I use the Invicta as a Weapon, since it weighs around 14ounces. Edited September 22, 2011 by SirDomino
houndoggie 58 Posted September 22, 2011 had it 3 times. it's the most uncomfortable watch ever made. You are not supposed to wear it. Just look at it in the box. this, I did not know.

rober100 0 Posted September 22, 2011 I don't have a DSSD and I'm big fan of Rolex... vintage tool era. I prefer a 60s no date Sub with those impressive doom crystals. What about making one, BK?

markeym3 2 Posted September 22, 2011 not been a big fan of rolex maybe is it because its the first make you associate with "reps"? but on and off had a few deep seas and the size and feel is good very comfortable on my 8" (wrist that is )a bit different with the "ring" , also have a gmt in pvd nice ,, and of course the deep sea for me is one of the best value reps around IMHO ....... Ntmf 0 Posted September 22, 2011 (edited) Rolexes are nice watches for noobs. Gens or Reps? Although I was bitten by the Panerai bug, my only Gen is a GMT II - I wear it since 2002 runs perfect. almost everyone in my family has a GEN Rolex - all get worn as daily rockers - they just keep on running although they start looking beeten up after 7 or 8 years. My mothers first rolex (daily rocker) stopped running after 32 years - Poor women had to buy her second Gen at the age of 72 :-D. Her old Gen needed it's first service (quite expensive at 1000 USD / 750 EUR). The plex i Rolex stays in the safe now. My brothers Gen Rolex is running since 14 or 15 years. My wifes Gen runs since 10 years (her Rolex gets worn very carefully), as expected: no probs. Mine seems undestroyable (except from the case, which has some dents). To be honest: If you only buy one watch: let it be a rolex. Having said that I have to add: If you are here at RWG you probably do not have only one watch :-D Coming back to the topic: I tried the Gen DSSD: This thing is just stunning - but I will only buy a Rep, if the Writing on the Ring has the right font/boldness. So: No I do not have one - I will get one as soon as there is an ultimate one. Edited September 22, 2011 by Ntmf

Ollifl 0 Posted September 22, 2011 Yup, got two, still have the wrappers on.... Go figure two what? mexican fart bottlers? Excuse me, I've had some of the best times when there's Mariachi band playing, can't remember much but the cops and the pics said enough, but you "Walesians" wouldn't know anything about it now, would you? Even took a picture just for you... They are the ones on the left, you know, the other hand.
