How to open J12?

Recommended Posts

Don't know if I'm missing something but struggling to get into the watch for battery change. Taken out the 8 screws in the back but back does not seem to prise off. If anything the case seems to come out at the front but cannot fully due to the winder.

Help please, need to keep wife happy as a couple incoming.

Keep the wife happy by doing her a few times a day, that will help.

TGhe eight screws are all you need to remove. You'll find the whole bezel/xtalmovement and dial come out of the midcase.

It's odd that yours wont comes straight out - knowing how impossible to waterproof the reps are I wonder if it's been glued...

Try taking the band off. Sometimes they catch the back case

It's modular construction so all parts come undone

Post a picture may help

The band was catching the back case. Still managed to break the fucking case lugs taking it apart but at least the battery has been replaced. Just looks shite now but keeps good time. Thanks again Robert.
