AustinTech 0 Posted August 6, 2009 I am rockin' my Planet Ocean on rubber today. The guy next to me on my flight was wearing the 42mm version with the orange dial. I complimented his watch and we got to talking. Nice guy. I don't see many POs in the wild.

I complimented his watch and we got to talking. Nice guy. I don't see many POs in the wild. I hardly ever see any 'good' watches in the wild, mainly because I never go anywhere because I'm skint lol However, last weekend I think I spotted a Rollie Sub, an IWC 3717, several Tags... Clearly I need to hang out more often with people with money! lol I didn't check the wrist of the richest guy there, but given he has the latest Porsche 911 GT2 as well as a Carrera GT (which I've been in ), I can't imagine it would have been cheap... lol
AustinTech 0 Posted August 6, 2009 Did you comment on the inferior size of his piece, AT?? Funny thing is that I didn't even have to. He just looked at mine and said , "I got the 42mm" and sounded all ashamed and inadaquit. Lol.

alphakazi 0 Posted August 6, 2009 imageshack... in Firefox... I refuse to use IE... good man :( I'm forced to use it when some web sites are acting funky (like the Toronto Real Estate Board )
greg_r 81 Posted August 6, 2009 I find that if it doesn't work in Firefox, it'll work in one of the webkit browsers (Chrome or Safari). The only time I use IE is to check for IE-related problems on here or some other website I'm working on. Godawful browser - IE8 is even worse than IE7 was. greg_r 81 Posted August 6, 2009 hmm - I was actually wondering whether it was something to do with the headers on his jpegs... Just a thought, kazi, but you might want to reduce the resolution of your photos to 72dpi before posting - I'm wondering whether 180dpi + photobucket is the problem. Hard to tell as I don't have any problems viewing your photos in either Safari or Firefox, but there ya go...

I'll look into it but I have noticed this myself - at times some pics won't show up even after refreshing but then shows up next time I visit the thread.. something funky going on. I noticed this with posted youtube vids as well... I'll leave it at 72dpi and experiment a bit but I don't see how the the print res affects display - something funky going on with how hosts read the header...? - I'll experiment a bit because you're usually right
