JohnG 41 Posted August 4, 2009 HD, if you get that Diver let me know how it is.... Weird, they don't ship to Europe. If necessary, will have shipped to Boston, for Christmas pickup...
alphakazi 0 Posted August 4, 2009 http://www.wernersflyingwatches.com/products.asp?ProID=274 I like this one... are these any good?? http://cgi.ebay.com/German-Combat-Diver-1-...2#ht_4624wt_962 cool but the werners one is auto hey John, regarding your copper watch patina... "The most common is to wash with a mild solution of salammoniac dissolved in water. Just brush (or preferably spray) it on & allow to air dry. Repeat as necessary to achieve the desired results. If you want an old roofers trick, and one that is much more effective I might add, piss on it! It is still common practice for the roofing crew to all pee in a communal bucket and pour it over the roof at the end of each day to force a patina." I am very impressed at Werners quality - I would recommend them to anyone - we had a few other members buy from him as well (i think KBH) - the one I got is near flawless - setting/adjusting the crowns are very silky smooth here's more details on mine : http://www.replica-watch-guide.net/forum/i...erners&st=

Massimo 53 Posted August 4, 2009 Very nice - Vintage Omega is on my wish list. I can recommend it. Probably common knowledge but stick to the calibre numbers less than 1000 for the classic Omega movements. Gorgeous things they are.
