HD, if you get that Diver let me know how it is.... Weird, they don't ship to Europe. If necessary, will have shipped to Boston, for Christmas pickup...

cool but the werners one is auto

hey John, regarding your copper watch patina...

"The most common is to wash with a mild solution of salammoniac dissolved in water. Just brush (or preferably spray) it on & allow to air dry. Repeat as necessary to achieve the desired results. If you want an old roofers trick, and one that is much more effective I might add, piss on it! It is still common practice for the roofing crew to all pee in a communal bucket and pour it over the roof at the end of each day to force a patina." (From: Gary Hubert, [email protected])

I like this one... are these any good??

I am very impressed at Werners quality - I would recommend them to anyone - we had a few other members buy from him as well (i think KBH) - the one I got is near flawless - setting/adjusting the crowns are very silky smooth

here's more details on mine : http://www.replica-watch-guide.net/forum/i...erners&st=0

I can recommend it. Probably common knowledge but stick to the calibre numbers less than 1000 for the classic Omega movements. Gorgeous things they are.

Well, I'm wearing this, as usual - the one and only watch I've had for about the past 12 years!

See my sig :D

I had the BP turn up yesterday, as per the thread I posted a little earlier today - sadly I think it's going to have to go back as it's DOA

I may even see if Ziggy can relume the one posted above, and whether I can get a replacement crystal!

That pic was for you...

Anyway, I am thinking I will be able to do it Friday afternoon here. It will be a tutorial on how to do all three CG types... brushed, polished, and brushed with polished pin.
