QC pics from Marvellous

Recommended Posts

Showa321

Had a great experience with M regarding emails, very prompt responses via email and as a newbie to this he eased my mind a great deal.

I ordered the watch and within 2 days had the QC pics. I have also been assured the watch is water proof to 5AT which was the main concern but M has got it done. Will test it when I get it tho.

Got a few pics:-

Date font is wrong. Crown is wrong. Clasp is the old style. B)

What, nobody noticed mislocated pearl? It's so visible way off to the left.

Well if it's been approved and sent nothing can be said about now this is the down side of QC pictures if you happen to miss something.

Although I wonder why dealer bothered to send QC pictures with such an obvious misaligned pearl

I've seen quite a few DSSD's with misaligned pearl....seems to be a common problem

QC should be seen as QC and that means that no dust is under the crystal or screws or dot markers are lose. QC is not a rating if the watch is close to the gen. Don´t forget that :D

Eider, it has nothing to do with comparison. It's about an obvious flaw. Who cares, if the CG is 0,05mm thicker, than gen, it's not visible, but a pearl, that is 1mm off center IS a very bothering flaw.

The pearl may be off but that thin red line looks perfect to me.

MR is a good dealer. Maybe the pearl will look abit better in the flesh- sometimes the angle makes those things look even worse than

they are.
